Hi again! After some weeks of work we come back here to show you the advances. You are going to see some pics of how the model evolve through the different stages. It isn't finished yet, though. Enjoy it.
Hola de nuevo! Después de algunas semanas de trabajo volvemos para mostraros los avances. Podréis ver algunas fotos de como el modelo va cambiando con las diferentes etapas. De todas formas, deciros que aún no esta acabado. Disfrutadlo.

Base
I decided long before starting this project that I was going to represent a tritonal disc camo. So first I started to work the horizontal surfaces. Then I moved to the vertical ones with camo spraying first the Rotbraun (AK169), masking and then spraying the Olivgrün (AK172). Finally, I worked the last layer with Dunkelgelb (AK713). Obviously, every colour was modulated on every stage.
Mucho antes de empezar el proyecto había decidido que haría un camo de discos tritonal. Así que primero empece a trabajar las superficies horizontales. Después me pase a las verticales con camo aerografiando primero el Rotbraun (AK 169), enmascarando y luego haciendo lo mismo con el Olivgrün (AK172). Finalmente trabajé la última capa con el Dunkelgelb (AK713). Obviamente cada color fue modulado en cada etapa.

Filters, Oils and Washes (Filtros, Oleos y Lavados)
I made a mix of light grey and ochre to apply a filter. That started to blend all the tones and contrast. After that, I applied the well-known "dots" technique with oils to start with the weathering. I normally use a wide variety of colours (greens, siena, white, blue, orange, red-brown, etc). Also, I applied a pin-wash with Dark Yellow Wash (AK300).
Hice una mezcla de gris claro y ocre para aplicar un filtro. Lo que empezó a unificar todos los tonos y contraste. Después de eso y para empezar con el desgaste aplique la conocida técnica de los "puntos" con oleos. Normalmente uso una amplia variedad de colores (verdes, siena, blanco, azul, naranja, marrón rojizo, etc). También aplique un lavado con Dark Yellow Wash (AK300).
