M88 Nam (build)

After several months of intense work, I eventually finished this recovery! Without any doubt, it took me a ton of patience but the final result it's worth!

I got inspired by a series of pics from LIFE magazine, especially this one. 
Me inspire mirando una serie de fotos de la revista LIFE, especialmente con esta.

The kit is the old AFV M88 Nam version (35011). I included the voyager kit for the M88A1 (PE35632). I also used the ref.ATL-142from Friumodel for the tracks. Among several details, the suspensions and wheels had to be modified so the front needed to be lower than the rear as the model is going down on a hill. Another major modification was the complete removal of the plastic fenders and the construction of the PE ones. Soldering was used to avoid weak points on this part. 

El kit is el viejo M88 de AFV versión Nam (35011). Le añadi el kit de Voyager para el M88A1 (PE35632) y también la ref.ATL-142 para las cadenas de Friumodel. Entre otras cosas, los brazos de las ruedas se tuvieron que modificar para que los de la parte frontal estuvieran más hundidos que los traseros ya que el modelo va a estar bajando una pendiente. Otro de los grandes retos fue eliminar de forma completa los fenders y substituirlos por lo de fotograbado. Se soldaron casi todas las piezas para ganar en robustez.
