Challenger II Kfor (Finals with base)

Here we are again. This time I want to show you some of the final pics of the Challenger II projects. Although I've already shown you pics of the model, I've never posted any of the pics with the base and figures. Hope you like them!

Aquí estamos de nuevo. Esta vez quiero enseñaros algunas de las fotos finales del proyecto del Challenger II. Aunque ya os he enseñado fotos del modelo acabado, nunca he posteado las fotos con la base y las figuras. Espero que os gusten!

Challenger II Kfor (Final)

Hi there! Here I let you the final pics of my Challenger II. It isn't supposed to be the most exact representation of a Challenger II. The main goals of this project were make the most of the Trumpeter kit, and get as much control as I can during the painting. I think I've got it.

I want to remember you that this model is going along with two superb figures moulded and painted by my friend and excellent modeller Jose aria Illa. You can check out the crewmen here. I want to tell you that I currently making a base for the model that I'll show you in no time.

Buenas! Os dejo aquí las fotos finales de mi Challenger II. No pretende ser el modelo más preciso ni mucho menos. Los únicos objetivos que me marque fueron aprovechar al máximo el kit de Trumpeter, y obtener el máximo de control durante el proceso de pintura. Creo haberlo conseguido.

Quiero recordaros que este modelo irá con dos magníficas figuras moldeadas y pintadas por mi amigo y excelente modelista Jose Maria Illa. Podéis ver lo dos carristas aquí. Deciros también que ahora mismo estoy realizando la base para el carro que desvelare en breve. Un abrazo y gracias por mirar.

Challenger II Kfor (Pre-Dust)

Here I let you an entry about how the Challenger II goes. I also show you the differences between several stages of the model. That helps us to check if we are achieving our goals in every stage.  It also helps us to see the mistakes, what and how some techniques must be adjusted and in general, to learn and improve. Enjoy it!

Aquí os dejo una entrada de cómo va el proceso del Challenger II. Os enseño también en esta entrada las diferencias entre las diferentes etapas por las que ha pasado. Esto nos ayuda a ver si vamos consiguiendo las cosas que nos hemos propuesto en cada etapa, y nos permite detectar errores, que técnicas se tienen que ajustar, y en general, aprender y mejorar. Challenger II Kfor (Assembly / Montaje)

After few months fighting with the Trumpeter kit I have eventually finished it without going crazy. Two photoetched sets from Eduard and workable tracks from Bronco were added to complete the model. Here, you are going to find how this project starts, and with some patience, how it will end. Let's get started!

Después de unos meses peleandome con el kit de Trumpeter, finalmente lo he terminado sin volverme loco. Añadí dos sets de fotograbados de Eduard y unas cadenas "workables" de Bronco para completar el modelo. Aquí podréis encontrar como empezó este proyecto, y con un poco de paciencia, como terminara. Empecemos!
