Panther Ausf. D (Assembly)

The Panzer V is one of the most attractive and interesting tanks of the WWII. For this reason it has also became one of the most reproduced subjects in all his versions and variants. Obviously, that makes it harder when you want to do something little different.

El Panzer V es uno de los tanques más atractivos e interesantes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Esta es una de las razones por las que también se ha convertido en uno de los sujetos más reproducidos en todas sus versiones y variantes. Obviamente, esto lo hace más difícil cuando quieres hacer algo un poco diferente.

Stug.III Ausf.E (Painting process/Proceso de pintura)

Here the photos of my last project. As I told you in previous entries the assembly was a little tricky, but finally I really enjoyed with the painting. I played with hairspray, mapping and oils. If you want to see the different stages of the painting, just take a look!

Aquí tenéis la fotos de mi último proyecto. Tal y como os conté en entradas previas, el montaje fue un poco complicado y tedioso, pero finalmente disfrute muchísimo con el camuflaje invernal. Jugué con la técnica de la laca, el mapping y los oleos. Si queréis ver las diferentes etapas de la pintura solo echad un vistazo! 

Stug.III Ausf.E (Assembly/Montaje)

Another of my projects that I’d stopped two years ago. Dragon “Super Value” kit. Old mould, bad and brittle plastic, and some infernal fitting. I just wanted to get it ready to paint as soon as possible. Out of the box with some house-made details.

Os dejo unas fotos de otra maqueta que deje a medias hace más de dos años. Es un kit “Super Value” de Dragon. Molde viejo, plástico malo y quebradizo y algunos encajes infernales. No es perfecta ni lo pretende, tan solo quería dejarla lista cuanto antes y empezar a pintar. De caja salvo algunos detalles hechos con lo que había por el cajón.

KV-II Trumpeter (Final)

About a month and a half later, I’ve finished the KV-2. After two years without modelling I’ve really enjoyed with it. I want to thank all the people who have helped me in some way during this project. Specially, thanks to Carlos Blanco, Adam Wilder and Rubén González for their opinions and support.

Finalmente ya tengo listo el KV-2. Tengo que decir que después de dos años sin tocar una maqueta la he disfrutado muchísimo. Dar las gracias a todos lo que me habéis ayudado de una manera u otra. Especialmente a Carlos Blanco, Adam Wilder y Rubén González por resolver dudas y darme sus opiniones.

KV-II Trumpeter (Chipping/Desconchones)

Just some photos before washes and pigments. Definitely, I need to get used to the chipping technique.

Aquí os dejo unas fotos antes de lavados y empolvado. Definitivamente, necesito mejorar en el tema desconchones.

KV-II Trumpeter (Colour Modulation)

After some days working the base, I've got it! I haven't used any "modulated" KV as a reference. Instead, I decided before the painting how I was going to paint and solve the different areas. I think the colour modulation is specially suitable for tanks with large armour plates like this. And even though it gives me more work, it's quite funny.

Después de trabajar la base unos días así es como se va a quedar. Decir que no me he basado en ningún KV ya modulado, sino que previamente a la pintura decidí como iba a trabajar y solucionar las diferentes partes del carro. Soy de la opinión que la modulación de color le sienta especialmente bien a carros con superficies grandes. Y aunque de más trabajo, se me hace mucho más divertida esta fase de la pintura.

KV-II Trumpeter (Assembly/Montaje)

Hey guys! Here, some photos from a Trumpeter KV-II. It was my second model, time ago, but I decided to give him another chance. This model had lots of assembly mistakes, so it gave me some work with putty. 

Bueno chicos, aquí os dejo fotos del KV-II de Trumpeter. Fue mi segunda maqueta tiempo atrás, pero he decidido darle una segunda oportunidad. La maqueta tenía (y tiene) muchos errores de montaje que me han dado algo de trabajo con masilla. 

I made some details on the upper chassis and turret.

Se ha reproducido algo de detalle en el chasis y la torreta.
