Challenger II Kfor (Base)

After some time I have ready the base painting of the Challenger II. All the work with acrylics it's done. Now it's the turn of the filters and oils to create chromatic richness and to help emphasize shadows and light of some places.

Después de un tiempo ya tengo lista parte de la base del Challenger II. Todo el trabajo con acrílicos esta acabado. Ahora le toca el turno a los filtros y óleos para ayudar a dar variedad cromática  a las superficies, y enfatizar sombras y luces en algunos lugares.

When I started to paint  the model I had a clear idea that I wanted a very soft modulation work with the airbrush, and then build up and adjust the level of contrast with the highlighting of the details and the oils. 

The paints use are the ones from the AK Interactive kit "NATO Colors Set" (AK4001) which I reviewed before in the blog (You can find the review here). They can be used directly from the jar without problems and they've a great coverage. 

Cuando empecé a pintar, tenia muy claro que quería un trabajo muy suave de modulación con el aerógrafo, para ir después construyendo  y ajustando el contraste con el resaltado de los detalles y los óleos.

Las pinturas utilizadas son las del kit "NATO Colors Set" (AK4001) de AK Interactive del que hice un review anteriormente en este blog (lo puedes encontrar aquí). Las pinturas se pueden utilizar directamente del bote sin problemas y tienen una buena cobertura.
