GTMU (Final Pics)

Here it is! I've managed to finish this GT-MU from Trumpeter with my very own 3D designs on it!

C'est Fini!  Ya está lista la pintura del GTMU abandonado. Esta versión de bomberos ha supuesto un desafío para envejecer el color base. Pero el resultado merece la pena!

It’s been a ride but it is eventually done. Through this project I had the opportunity to use different techniques and use for the first time the 3d modelling and printing. You can check the pics of the builds HERE. The paint process had three main phases: oils for the fading and washes, acrylics for the chipping (green, light base and rust) and enamels for the dust and wet effects.

 I also made a ground to create the right atmosphere for the model. You can see that is strongly inspired in the abandoned scrapyards in При́пять. The valve and pipes are also designs and prints made by me. I hope you like it! 

Ha costado pero ya está. Durante esta maqueta he podido probar diferentes técnicas y sobretodo estrenarme en el modelado e impresión 3D. Podéis ver las fotos del montaje en un post anterior en el blog aquí. La pintura a constado de tres fases mayoritariamente. Oleos para decoloraciones y lavados. Desconchones en verde, base claro y óxido oscuro. Polvo enamel y efectos.

 He acompañado la maqueta con una base inspirada en los depósitos de vehículos abandonados de При́пять. Las tuberías y válvula de la base también son impresiones 3D mias. Espero que os guste.
